2016. A Whole New Sort Of Deal

I'm not sure who still follows this blog. I'm proud of it, and I hope you do, but this last year has been very different. Rocks? Still awesome. But let's admit that there is more.

Rocks and abandoned mines and towns are only as interesting as you make them. What I mean is you're really funny and whatever you chose to write about I am sure you will make extremely entertaining. So long as you keep posting :)

Just enjoyed your entry about the Veyo Volcano. Loved it! I moved from California to the St. George area 8 years ago and am fascinated with the diverse geology. I love hearing other people's adventures. Don't stop writing. Keep your travel logs coming!

I'm enjoying your blog. As someone who just moved to Utah after spending 15 years exploring Alaska and it's own mines/ghost towns, i'm looking forward to seeing some of these places. Nice thing about old blogs is they are always still there (hopefully) to be discovered by the next weirdo who comes along.

Please don't stop your blog! We are docents at the Silver Reef museum and like to read all we can about this area!! Planning a trip to Ophir in Tooele county to see that mine, which is very ghosty. Have you written about it yet. They say it's much cooler there than here in Silver Reef. . . . Ahhhhh! 'Twill be Splendid!!!
